Holman Wilfley gravity separation technology has a long established history in fine minerals concentration in the mining industry but has recently found increasing popularity in the metals recycling sector where Holman Wilfley Ltd is now Europes largest supplier of water/wet tables specifically designed for recycling applications.
Fine Minerals
Shaking tables provide the most efficient gravity separation of fine minerals. With over a century of use concentrating fine minerals, both Holman and Wilfley units have proved themselves as the market leaders. Holman Wilfley customers are currently using table to produce concentrates of gold (alluvial and milled ore), tin, tungsten, tantalum and chromite, where the tables are usually used as the final stage in gravity circuits.
Our customers include:
Mineral Sands
Currently the largest use of shaking tables is in mineral sands where they are often the primary concentrating technology. Holman Wilfley's global customers including those in Australia, South Africa, Mozambique and Kenya use the tables for the concentration of Zircon, Rutile and Ilmenite. Our customers find our tables to be the highest quality, most reliable and efficient available.
Recycling
Holman Wilfley is now Europes biggest supplier of water tables for the separation and concentration of metals from recycling waste including WEEE, shredded copper wire, slag, incinerator ash and bag-house dusts. Although this is a relatively new use for gravity concentration tables, the results prove themselves. The recycling industry is now Holman Wilfley's largest growth area with repeated orders for machines from the largest recycling companies in Europe.
